Early on, from the time the demons physically attacked St. Iakovos (Tsalikis), to the point of leaving him senseless, he started reeceiving another gift - that of casting out demons from possessed people. Casting out a demon from a possessed man, St. Iakovos asked the demon how he enters into human beings:
"I enter like smoke into those who don't have faith. I enter just like that, like smoke!... "Like smoke I get into man, like smoke I get out. I'm scared stiff of the Cross! I flee from everyone who makes the sign of the cross... Wherever God's grace departs from, we enter!"

The Holy Cross brings us true miracles and blessings. Therefore it is good to make the sign of the cross correctly and often.
