St Gabriel (Urgebadze)

One winter, I got sick. When Father Gabriel found out about it, he came to my cell. He called me Blessed Xenia (in the world I was called Xenia): "Lord! How is that so? You're sick..." He immediately took off his shoes, knelt down and pleaded with the Lord, "Lord, I am monk Gabriel, I will walk barefoot for three days, only heal Blessed Xenia!" No matter how many times I asked, I couldn't talk him out of it. He fulfilled that vow, and he didn't get sick, and he healed me.
