Short Story of Elder Ephraim of Arizona

There was a monk at St. Anthony's monastery who didn't speak Greek. One day he developed warts on his hand. They were embarrassing to him and he tried everything to get rid of them but nothing worked. When the monk went to Elder Ephraim to get a blessing, he tried to tell him about his warts pointing at them trying to get Elder Ephraim's attention since he spoke no Greek word. Elder Ephraim did as if he didn't see the warts and blessed him. The very next morning the warts were gone!
