The elder was asked by the laity: "Father, if I read 4 hours of prayer a day, how soon will I achieve the grace of God."
"Well, it may take 10 years," replied the father.
"Father, what if I pray 8 hours a day? Then it may take 20 years for the mind to transform."
The elder answers: "Spirituality has nothing to do with culture but with gaining peace from the love of God! Living in the light of the prayer of the Grace of the Creator is food for the elders who study the Most High, and thus acts of mercy are created."
