St. Gregory the Theologian

Do not try to please the flesh, lest you fall in love with real life. But try to build the most beautiful temple, because man is the temple of the Great God.

And he builds himself in this temple, who renounces the earth and constantly march towards heaven. And I advise you to guard this temple so that it smells fragrant from all your deeds and words, so that God always abides in it, so that it is always perfect, and moreover essentially, and not outwardly.

Lead the unpainted and glittering ship along the ridge of the sea, but tightly nailed together, comfortable for sailing, and skillfully equipped with the artist's hands, and rapidly moving along the waves.
