Father Cyril of Vatopedi says something like this:

 

"Do not be sad or afraid for your children because the world in which they are growing up is no longer what it was.

God created them and called them for the right and precise moment of their time. Their lives were no coincidence.

Raise them up and train them to know the power in which they walk as God's children.

Train them in the authority of His Word.

Teach them to walk by faith knowing that God is in control.

Empower them to know they can change the world.

Do not teach them to be afraid and discouraged by the state of the world, but full of hope that they can do something about it.

Every person throughout history has been placed in the era they were in because of God's sovereign plan.

He knew Daniel would do well in the lion's den.

He knew that David would face Goliath.

He knew Esther would handle Haman.

He knew that Peter could triumphantly defeat the persecution.

He knows that your child can face any challenge he faces in life. God created him especially for this!

Do not fear for your children, but honor that God has chosen you to raise and educate the generation facing the greatest challenges of our time.

Rise to the challenge.

Lift up Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Daniel, David, Esther, Peter, Paul, etc.!

God is not confused about what to do with this wretched world.

He has an army that He is raising to drive out the darkness and make Him known throughout the earth.

Don't let your fear steal the greatness that God has placed in your children. I know it's hard to imagine them as anything other than our sweet babies and we just want to protect them from anything that might be hard on them, BUT THEY WERE BORN JUST FOR THIS TIME.'
