Orthodox Parables and Stories: "Miracle of the Kazan Icon"

My husband and I got married in 2005. In 2006, in the spring, I transplanted violets in the kitchen, dug for a long time in the ground, and in the evening I found that there was no ring on my finger!

I realized that it had slipped off (very strange, because it was held tightly enough on the finger) and in which pot should I look for it now? I threw out half of the old earth altogether. In general, I was very upset. Then I somehow stopped getting hung up, but unpleasant thoughts still sometimes visited me. In the same year, I was presented with an unusually beautiful large icon of the Kazan Mother of God for my birthday.

I hung it on the wall and remember that I often prayed to the Mother of God for the granting of marital happiness and children to me (I could not get pregnant, there were health problems) and imagine what happened to me when in the fall of 2007 on November 4 (Day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God ) my mother-in-law called me and said that she miraculously found my ring. She raked the fallen leaves in the country under a bush and saw that something in the ground was shimmering in the sun. It turned out that it was a golden ring! She later told me that she brought a pot of old earth from home and poured this earth just under that bush. For us this is a clear miracle of God! What did the Lord want to show me? Probably to strengthen in the faith. Yes! And a year later I gave birth to a daughter, and a year later my son! Thank God for everything!
