Orthodox Parables and Stories: Miracle of St. Spyridon

I am not Orthodox, but when I despaired, I read on the Internet the stories of miracles that happened to people through the prayers of Spiridon of Trimifuntsky and also decided to turn to the Saint for help.
I started to pray from time to time, then I decided to read the akathist for 40 days and ask for help in my needs, but even after I finished reading the akathist, nothing happened.
I was desperate, it seemed to me that he did not hear me, that he would never help me. During this time, I began to study Orthodoxy and realized that you can't just ask, you also need to have patience and humility.
I continued to pray, but as soon as I calmed down, found humility and faith in God, only then, after almost 6 months, my requests began to come true. Everything that I asked from Spiridon, everything came true within the next 6 months. Despite the fact that there were difficulties at every step, through the prayers of the Saint, everything was resolved by itself.
Through the prayers of Saint Spyridon, the Lord really helps. The main thing is to sincerely believe in God and in his power. Thank you great miracle worker Spiridon for your help!
