On Holy Tuesday, Jesus' denunciation of the Pharisees and scribes is remembered. This is a reminder that we should not be proud of ourselves. Also on this day, we remember the Last Judgement, the resurrection of the dead, the Ten Virgins, and the talents. In the parable of the Ten Virgins lamps are our souls, oil is alms and other good deeds. The Bridegroom is Jesus Christ Himself.
