A monk was asked:

"You talk about love and family. But what is the difference: a man and woman live in marriage or have free love?"

The monk replied:

"A marriage created and blessed by the Lord serves to cultivate and increase love among people. But people, unfortunately, abuse the gifts they received, and countless sorrows come from it. For example, you have a car. If yours is wonderful, it will bring you joy and benefit. And if you steal it you will receive an evil from the stolen and you will be punished according to your deeds. Love outside of marriage is also stolen."
