Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "Joy of All Who Sorrow"

Tomorrow we commemorate the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos "The Joy of All Who Sorrow" (Nov.6/Oct. 24)

Each of us on our path in life has sorrows, sicknesses and tribulations. Therefore, always with such hope and love, the people of God pray before the icon of the Mother of God "Joy of All who Sorrow". When our faith is worthy of Her prayerful intercession for us, the Mother of God will not hesitate to give us Her consolation and support in all life's difficulties.

Patriarch Alexy II
