Going to Jordan, an elder fell into the heat of day and, sweating as he was, went into a cave to cool off and rest. As soon as he sat in the cool shade, he was confronted by a lion, who started to grind his teeth, like he was sharpening them and roaring. The elder, without losing his temper for one moment, said to him: "What are you sad about? There is plenty of space for you and me here. But, if you don't like it, then get up and go!" And the lion who did not want to share, stopped his roaring, lowered his head and exited the cave, leaving the elder alone.
