Elder Ephraim of Arizona
A lady sent us this:
I last confessed to Elder Ephraim of St. Anthony's monastery in Arizona in 2015.
During confession the Elder told me twice the following: "A man went up to heaven and spoke to Christ. He said to HIm: "Sir, you must make it easy for people to be saved. They are very weak and fall easily into sin."
"Oh," He replied, "they will be saved. It is enough to say the prayers. One has five words and the other four." And He counted on His fingers the two prayers: "Lord (Jesus Christ) have mercy on me." and "(Most) Holy Theotokos save us."
He told me twice. I asked Him: "Should I tell this the Greek Elders?" He answered: "That's why I tell you to say it to the Greeks. I am writing it today 2019 to the Glory of God."
