"The Lord helps those who walk along the road."
In the Ichalkovsky village of Rezatovo there is an unusual farm. Cows are bred there, they sow grain and harvest, relying not only on their own strengths, but, above all, on the help and grace of God.
It is managed by the abbot of the Trinity Church, Father Superior Mitrofan. For income from agricultural labor, the father contains three churches: one in Rezovatov itself, and two more in the neighboring villages of Kamaevo and Paradeevo.
This farm gave work to two fathers of large families and many other local residents. Having worked in Orthodox farming, some men stop drinking, and children begin to attend church more often. Many people wonder how the priest, a former city dweller, was able to master all the subtleties of agricultural labor so well.
“The Lord helps those who walk along the road, and not sit still,” the modest village priest answers.
