When asked where is the love of God, when He allows small children to die, the elder answered:

- God instructed the parents to raise His children, and not their children. Children are God's, not theirs. God through the death of small children often does the same as a shepherd with a wayward sheep who does not want to go into the shepherd: he takes her lamb to force her mother to come to him.
