Archimandrite Pavlos Papadopoulos

In the hazy light, between Angels and Saints standing on the walls, sprinkled with fragrant incense, I feel truly blessed.

Here, for hundreds of years, priests have been working, weeping, praying, asking for mercy, praising.

Here, at the cape of Grace, where Heaven unites with the earth and incorruption invades decay.

Here, in the Holy Step of Life.

Here, everything makes deep sense, without the degenerations of passion.

Because here, in this place, there is nothing but an apology and a "I love you".

Here, everything comes together. They all come together.

Everything and everyone becomes Christ.

The "now" is abolished with the eternal present.

Our Image is being restored.

Our goal is achieved.

Life begins.

Christ is risen, they all sing together.

Christ we eat and drink.

We fill with Light.

We get drunk with Grace.

We taste Paradise.

Here, the Philanthropic God meets the soil and offers it to God.

Here, at the end of the Cross, Resurrection rises.
