Today, we greet each other for the last time with an exclamation: “Christ is Risen!” "Indeed He is Risen!" Tomorrow the Lord will ascend to heaven.

And today, on this last day before Ascension, the Church recalls that He said on that last day: “For a little while the light is with you; walk while there is light, so that the darkness will not overtake you, and he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going; Until the light be with you, believe in the light, that you may be sons of light.
