Prayers of Monks

The prayers of monks constantly rise before the Throne of God, as a sweet-smelling spiritual incense, thus achieving for all the suffering people in the world a relief in their misfortune. And so much more than that. Their prayerful interceding fortifies, as if with strong walls, the earthly fatherland as well, protecting it from every enemy and dark evil.
