St. Paisios the Athonite

Someone once asked Saint Paisios:

"Elder, what is the difference between Orthodox and Catholics?"

Then Saint Paisios showed the building of his cell and said:

"Do you see this building?"

"I see it," he replied.

And the Saint continued: "If we take out the mud that exists, the stones will not support each other. This is what Catholics do. They removed the support and destabilized the building of the Church ".

"While with the Protestants, what is going on?" he asks again.

And the Saint answers: “Ah! They also took out the pebbles that exist and are trying to stabilize the large stones between them. This means that there is no building!"
