Christ has a rudder and leads the world. Once upon a time, Saint John the Baptist wanted to take the helm as well
He tells Christ:
"Let me lead," says John the Baptist
"Well then, take the rudder, " says Christ
The Forerunner took the helm and saw a poor woman carrying a sack of flour on a dirt road. Someone came by with a cart and was willing to help her. She took her flour, put it in the cart and he secretly started stealing it.
The Forerunner, seeing the injustice, got angry, threw the rudder on the cart and made the cart and flour all muddy.
Christ rebuked him:
"What did you do there?"
"But didn't You see the old man, what he did?"
"Ah My Forerunner, one does not do that! If so, I would have ruined the whole world. It takes patience to rule the world!"
