The icon "Prepolovanie" Mid-Pentecost depicts a 12-year-old boy Jesus teaching the elders. He rises above them on a magnificent throne. So the iconographer figuratively shows that the New Testament is replacing the Old. The Savior's teaching is depicted against the background of the Temple multi-tiered building. It is covered to its full height by a red plaque - a symbol of the Resurrection of Christ, which saves the entire human race. The second color of the icon is green - a symbol of the renewal of life.
