Orthodox Parables and Stories: Miracle Story

I want to tell my story about the miraculous help of St. Luke. In November last year, I received a knee injury, diagnosed with hemarthrosis (hemorrhage in the joint cavity of the knee joint) + torn ligaments. At the hospital, they pumped out blood, prescribed treatment, but two weeks later, fluid re-accumulated in the joint.

All the time the knee was very swollen, it was impossible to bend or straighten the injured leg, any movement was accompanied by pain. The prescribed medication did not help me in any way. I went to the doctor, did another puncture, but after that, the fluid in the knee was collected in two days.

I turned to the Lord for help, I was sure that the Lord would not leave me in trouble, He will definitely help! On Sunday, after the service, I leave the church, a man comes to meet me and asks what is wrong with my leg. After what he heard, he advises me to return to the church and buy oil consecrated from the relics of St. Luke, anoint the knee with it cross-like and read a prayer to St. Luke.

I did everything as he said, and the very next day I felt relief. The swelling began to subside, the pain when walking decreased, and the ability to bend and unbend the leg gradually returned. What a joy it was - walking normally again, at such moments everything material becomes empty and insignificant. Every day I felt relief, a unique feeling that the disease was passing.

Two weeks later, I could already walk very quickly and even run, although the doctor warned that such injuries did not go away quickly, and the negative consequences could remain for a lifetime. Now four months have passed, the leg is completely healthy, there are no traces of injury. The Lord healed me with the prayers of Saint Luke!

Finally, I want to say: trust yourself and your life to God, never fall into despair, pray with all your heart, nothing is impossible for the Lord, the Lord helps EVERYONE! The one who lives by the Lord will never be lost !!!!
