Commemorating the icon of the Mother of God, called the "Merciful" (Kikk) Nov. 25/12.

The icon of the Mother of God called the Merciful was painted, according to legend, by the holy apostle and evangelist Luke.
The icon received its other name “Kikkiotis” (which means “Residing in Kykkos”) from the name of Mount Kykkos, located on the island of Cyprus . In the Kikk monastery, in the temple built in her honor, there is a miraculous image.
