Dimitrios Panagopoulos "The Letter"

 

"A little boy, wrote a letter to his uncle in America, asking him to send him some money, to get a book he wanted. But his uncle did not answer him... This worried the child's mother, because the uncle was always punctual and answered the letters.

Of course, it turned out, in hindsight, that the little boy wrote the letter in a notebook and forgot to cut out the page and put it in the letter envelope. So the letter contained nothing and apparently the uncle just received it, took it as a joke from the little one and did not reply.

Many of us are similar to the little boy in the story above, when it comes to prayer... Yes, we pray and send our "letter" to Heaven, but not our hearts together. Our letter is empty, because our prayer is not heartfelt, as a result we do not get an answer from God!"!!
