The Mother of God was buried in Gethsemane. For three days angelic melodies were heard at her grave. On the fourth day they opened the carved tomb so that an Apostle, who, according to God's plan, was not at her funeral, could take her holy cloth. Then they found it empty! Only her shroud was there. The body of the Most Holy Theotokos had been transferred to heaven!
