Everyone is aware of the high state of mind of Elder Ephraim of Arizona. A female fanatical Jew wanted to do evil to the Elder years ago. So she dressed as a respectable Christian in long clothes and scarf, and she went to see the Elder.
His subordinates told her she could not see him and she tried other days. After days, she was allowed to see him.
She had hidden a knife in her clothes to kill him and when she came in she was surprised to see him standing upright and shouting Elder !!
She saw him flying in the air in a pious way.
He says put the knife down and I'll come down and talk. The monk came in and disarmed her. Eventually the woman repented and believed and was baptized.
Elder's holiness appeared once again!
