The saints never offended a sinful man in front of other people, but with love and spiritual delicacy secretly contributed to the correction of evil. We, despite the fact that we are sinners, do the opposite (as hypocrites). Only a person under the control of a demon is forgiven to expose people to shame before outsiders, reminding them of their past in order to shake feeble souls. An unclean spirit does not bring forth the virtues of people, but only their weaknesses.
