A sick father, K., was at rest in the monastery, to whom doctors prescribed a constant bed rest. The patient turned to Father Savva: "Pray for me."
Father told him: "Read the Psalter."
And he replies: "I can’t."
But Savva's father says to him: “You can’t, but you read!”
“Yes, I can’t.”
“And you read.”
A few days later he said that he resettled himself and began to read the Psalter. And he recovered and after that he still lived 10 more years.
