St. Paisios the Athonite

The heart is like a self-charging device: the more it works, the more it charges. There the chainsaw, when it hits a rotten tree stump, snorts and stalls. But, falling on a solid tree, it rests on work, recharges and cuts. And not only in giving, but also in the case when we have to take something, we should not think about ourselves, but always strive for what brings peace to the soul of another. There should be no greed in us. We should not think that we have the right to take as much as we want, and let the other have nothing left. - St. Paisios the Athonite
