Woman who was deaf, listened to what her confessor told her in confession

The elder Parthenios, the current abbot of the Monastery of St. Paul on Mount Athos, once confessed a completely deaf woman, who only at the time of the mystery of confession did completely lifted her deafness listening to everything her confessor told her.

As soon as she went out, her family wondered what kind of confession she would have when she could not have a dialogue and get advice, since she could not hear the spiritual father.

But after confession the Elder himself assured them that a perfect confession was made, that is, the completely deaf woman listened to everything. They were amazed! When our Elder told the story he could not stop his tears.
